Triathlon
Triathlon is an endurance sport that consists of swimming, cycling and running. Total time of all three disciplines is used as a basis to select the winner. As there is no break between the individual events, triathlon is considered a true endurance sport. The longest triathlon event is called the Ironman and it consists of 3.8 kilometers (2.4 miles) swimming, 180.2 kilometers (112.0 miles) cycling, and 42.2 kilometers (26.2 miles) running.
