Badminton is a racquet sport played by two players or two pairs. The goal of the game is to strike a shuttlecock (a feathered or plastic projectile) over the net and on the opposing player's or team's court. It is a very fast and intense sport as the shuttlecock can reach speeds over 300 km/h (186 mph).
