Flames United Sports Club SXM

The Club is located in Sint Maarten Dutch Caribbean and was founded in 2010.

The birth of the Club came from a group of players as co-workers working in Sint Maarten and was playing football on the out skirt of the baseball field.

The three (3) persons that was in communication at the beginning was Mr. Dwayne Wright, Mr. Kimroy Daley and Mr. Rosshawn Haird.

The Club was accepted into the SMSA now the SXMFF and received it's membership under the Presidency of Mr. Owen Nickie.

Then goes on to play in it's first season and become Sub-Champ in it's first year and, have become champion in several championships, tournaments and leagues in Sint Maarten and against neighboring Islands including Futsal.

The Club have traveled to St. Barths for the Excellent Division away games and and weekend tournament with teams from Dutch Sint Maarten, French Saint Martin, Anguilla, Guadeloupe and four (4) teams from St. Barths.

The Club also have played in the Concacaf Caribbean Club Championship games in St. Vincent in 2017 and in the Dominican Republic in 2021.

Unfortunately the Club had to withdraw from the Concacaf Caribbean Club Shield games that was held in Puerto Rico in the year 2022.

The club started back it's youth academy in August of 2021 after it was affected in 2017 by Hurricane Irma.

We have also recently restarted our female team after the first female team was affected by the same hurricane and players migrated to other countries and then the rest unto College and Unversity.

The Club won the first ever Unity Cup Champion League of Sint Maarten/Saint Martin in the 2019/2020 season which was force to stop due to the COVID-19 PANDEMIC and, later resume in the 2020/2021 season where we went on to win the Champion League and the Sint Maarten Football Federation Domestic League undefeated.
